Set your own style, choose the right formats and types taking into account:
- The devices your community members are using to connect with you
- The occasions when they read you: day, time, specific situations
- The time they dedicate to your community: are your members looking for contents quick to consume? Or do they have the time to read articles and jump into URL’s?
If you already have an active community, you might want to consider using members as a source of inspiration. Pick randomly three to five members of your community and see what they’re posting on their social network profiles. Pay attention to what content format they like more (videos, pictures, URL’s, gifs) and the kind of content (humor, articles/stories, facts, news, daily pics…)
This will help you figure out the kinds of contents that could be successful for you. Add it to your plan along with the contents you want to share regarding the nature of your community.
